Past Projects
A brief look at some historical work. Most of these projects are no longer active, but they represent milestones in my journey as a software developer and tinkerer.
Augmented Reality Children's Books
Created two AR children's books that brought stories to life through 3D animations and interactive experiences. Both projects were successfully funded through Kickstarter campaigns.
Goodnight Lad: An augmented reality children's bedtime book that combined traditional print with smartphone-enabled 3D scenes. Readers could watch characters come alive and interact with the story in new ways.
Marvelous Machines for Silly Things: A second AR book exploring whimsical inventions and encouraging kids to imagine creative solutions to everyday problems.
Mobile Applications
Built multiple Android applications over the years that collectively reached millions of downloads. While most have been sold off or discontinued, they represent significant learning experiences in mobile development, user engagement, and product design.
These apps covered a range of categories including educational games, AR experiences, and fitness tracking. The work taught me valuable lessons about building production systems, user experience, and the entire lifecycle of consumer software.
Current Work
These days, my focus is on multimodal machine learning systems at Videra Health, building intelligent tools for clinical research and digital health. For details on current work, see my Publications or read more on the About page.
